BLDESY PTY LTD (ABN 11 698 416 705, ACN 698 416 705) of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia (“BLDESY!”, “we”, “us”, “our”) operates the Refer & Earn program described in these terms (“the Program”).
The Program is open to verified BLDESY! tradies (“Builders”) with an active account in good standing. You must hold a personal referral code, issued automatically when your account is verified, to take part. Employees and contractors of BLDESY! are not eligible.
3.1 Your code. Your referral code is personal to your account and must not be shared in a way that misrepresents its source (for example, posted publicly as if it were a general discount code rather than a personal referral).
3.2 A valid referral. A referral is valid where: (a) the referred person is a genuinely new tradie who has not previously held a BLDESY! account; (b) they enter your code during their own signup, or their account is otherwise attributed to your code by BLDESY!’s tracking at the time of signup; and (c) they complete BLDESY!’s verification process (ABN, licence, and the other checks described in our Terms of Service) and are approved as a verified Builder.
3.3 Not a guarantee. Referring someone does not itself earn a reward — the reward is earned only once the referred person is fully verified under clause 3.2(c). BLDESY! is not responsible for a referred person who does not complete signup or verification.
4.1 Reward. You earn AUD $20 for each valid referral, once the referred tradie is fully verified, up to a maximum of 10 valid referrals (AUD $200) per referrer per calendar year.
4.2 Payment method. Rewards are paid as a credit applied to your next BLDESY! subscription invoice. If you have no amount owing at the time a reward becomes payable, the credit is held on your account and applied to the next invoice we issue to you. Rewards are not paid in cash and cannot be transferred to another account.
4.3 Payment timing. Rewards are applied in a monthly run following the referred tradie’s verification. BLDESY! may hold a reward for up to 30 days to complete anti-fraud checks under clause 5 before it is released.
4.4 Reversal. If a referred account is later found to be fraudulent, a duplicate, or non-compliant with clause 5, BLDESY! may reverse or withhold the associated reward, including by deducting an already-applied credit from a future invoice.
5.1 Self-referral prohibited. You must not refer yourself using a second account, a household member’s details, or any other means of circumventing the “genuinely new tradie” requirement in clause 3.2(a). BLDESY! runs automated and manual checks for duplicate accounts, matching contact details, and other signals of self-referral or collusion.
5.2 No sign-and-drop. Referring a person who signs up but does not intend to genuinely operate as a Builder on the Platform (for example, solely to trigger a referral reward) is a breach of these terms.
5.3 Consequences. BLDESY! may, in its reasonable discretion: withhold or reverse a reward; suspend a referrer’s participation in the Program; and, for serious or repeated breaches, take action under our Terms of Service up to and including account suspension or termination.
Referral rewards may be assessable income. You are responsible for determining and meeting your own tax obligations in relation to any reward you receive, including GST if applicable to your business. BLDESY! does not provide tax advice.
BLDESY! may change the reward amount, the cap, eligibility criteria, or any other term of the Program, or end the Program entirely, at any time. Changes will be published on this page. A change does not affect a reward already earned (that is, where the referred tradie was fully verified) before the change took effect, but does apply to referrals not yet verified as at the date of the change.
Information collected to administer the Program (your referral code, referred accounts, and billing details) is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
BLDESY!’s decision on the validity of a referral and the application of these terms is final. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Questions: hello@bldesy.com.au.
